FiberLight, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support corporate accounting for a multi-state fiber networking company backed by a global private equity firm. The Staff Accountant will assist with month-end close, revenue and lease accounting, project accounting, and internal controls, while supporting audits and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Support accounting activities in key areas, including revenue recognition, construction and project accounting, lease accounting, debt accounting, and operating expense accruals.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with internal and external audits and help maintain internal control documentation.
• Partner with FP&A, IT, and operations teams to complete assigned responsibilities and identify process improvements.
• Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as business needs evolve.
