Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our fast-growing firm. Under close supervision, the Staff Accountant will complete a variety of tax, audit and other assignments as designated by the Supervisor or Manager.

Some positions may be open to remote or hybrid work arrangements depending on business needs; discuss options with your recruiter. Your contributions include completing engagements, researching issues, and building client relationships within a team that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Up to 1 year of public accounting or 1–3 years in internal accounting.
• CPA exam progress is a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work under close supervision and accept feedback.
• Collaborative, team-oriented with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research – gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports and make recommendations to principals and partners.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
