Job summary

The Staff Accountant will reconcile general ledgers and bank accounts, manage cash balances, and assist with quarter/year-end closings and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Strong technical skills with general ledger systems and Office365 (Excel, SharePoint) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling general ledger and bank accounts.
• Maintaining cash balances and overseeing cash activity with input to accounting software.
• Preparing quarter and year-end closing tasks and assisting in financial statement preparation.
• Preparing fiduciary accountings to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with staff on finance projects and providing information to other departments.
• Analyzing and recommending process improvements.
• Performing other duties to support the accounting team.
