Job summary

Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced accounting professional with a Bachelor degree in accounting. Hospital/Healthcare accounting experience and 5+ years of related work are preferred.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, advanced Excel (pivot tables), and proficiency with Workday and Strata in a dynamic healthcare setting. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, able to handle overtime when needed, and able to interact with multiple levels of management while

Qualifications

Bachelor degree with major in accounting.
Hospital/Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
5+ years related work experience.
Must be a team-oriented problem-solver.
Accounting software experience (Workday preferred).
Budget software experience (Strata preferred).
Advanced Excel experience preferred (pivot tables).
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Must be detail-oriented and flexible in prioritizing workload.
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to interface with a multidiscipline management staff.
Must have experience working with all levels of management.
Must be able to analyze complex accounting issues and communicate resolution both verbally and in writing.
