Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is a leading public sector solutions implementation and operations improvement firm. We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our finance team and support global subsidiaries from a remote setting.

The role focuses on reconciliations, intercompany billings, and currency translations, with emphasis on GAAP revenue recognition and process improvements. You will assist with audits and reporting while adapting to a growing, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with international accounting.
• Experience with revenue recognition principles.

• Experience with project accounting.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other reconciliations as needed.
• Generate intercompany billings for PCG and its subsidiaries.
• Process international uploads and record monthly currency translations.
• Provide general ledger and reporting assistance to financial staff of subsidiary companies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements.
• Assist with the year-end financial audit.
• Responsibilities may change as the department and PCG grow and as deemed necessary by management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other reconciliations as needed.

• Generate intercompany billings for PCG and its subsidiaries.

• Process international uploads and record monthly currency translations.

• Provide general ledger and reporting assistance to financial staff of subsidiary companies.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements.

Required Skills

• Ability to analyze account fluctuations.

• Ability to identify unusual items or issues and to correct them going forward.

• Ensure revenue recognition is consistent with GAAP and PCG policy.

• Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.

• Must have the ability to manage task load with frequent interruptions.

• Must maintain attention to detail at all times.

• Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.

• Possess discretion to work with confidential information.

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, role, skill set, and level of experience.As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $71,300-$88,100. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
