Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

  • Process wire transfers
  • Calculate the daily cash position
  • Prepare Board and Regulatory Reports
  • Process Fixed Assets and Prepaids
  • Support month-end close process

General Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve internal and external customer inquiries
  • Cross-train and backup department functions
  • Maintain bank and vendor records
  • Maintain department procedures as needed
  • Assist other department members as needed
  • Assist with Records Retention
  • Perform a variety of administrative support duties as required
  • Promote and demonstrate a positive work atmosphere
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
Knowledge/Skills Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
  • Basic understanding of Accounting principles
  • Banking experience is a plus
Physical Demands
  • Moves/walks around Bank location, including between levels or floors while performing duties.
  • Sitting at desk or computer workstation for periods of time.
  • Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment.
  • Ability to lift twenty pounds.
Role Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable registered, vehicle to travel between locations and for other business travel as needed
  • Mobile phone, with text capability for two-factor authentication
  • Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
  • Must be able to get along with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes
  • Display a willingness to receive and respond appropriately to feedback from supervisor
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person and in group settings with customers, vendors, and employees
