Connexa Search Group is assisting a growing professional services firm in Spartanburg, SC to hire an Accountant for their corporate team. This back-office role focuses on accuracy and timeliness, not client facing.

You will reconcile accounts, process transactions, handle bill payments and cash movements, coordinate cash availability, prepare payment docs, review client reporting, and collaborate across the firm to keep requests on schedule.

Qualifications

SUMMARY

This role supports the firm's back-office operations, keeping client accounts accurate and moving. This is a back office role, not client facing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare reconciliations across a large number of accounts
• Process a high volume of transactions accurately and on time
• Handle incoming requests for bill payments and cash movement
• Coordinate cash availability with internal teams
• Prepare payment documentation and route items for approval
• Review client reporting for accuracy
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm to keep requests on schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree is preferred, however proper experience may serve in lieu of a degree
• Thorough understanding of reconciliations of funds across various accounts
• Highly organized and detail driven, with a strong sense of ownership
