About the Role:

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting close process. It offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes as the accounting team prepares to operate as a public company. You will report to the Senior Manager of Accounting.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You Will Do:
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of assigned areas, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis.
  • Responsible for accounting activities related to cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intangibles.
  • Provide detailed reports and analyses to internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Assist in responding to audit requests. Ensure that all accounting practices comply with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and practices.
  • Build and use AI agents to automate daily activities.
  • Support other special projects as they arise.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably Big 4 public accounting or high-growth company experience.
  • CPA or working towards CPA designation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Hands‑on, detail‑oriented accountant with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Process‑oriented and curious, with an interest in leveraging AI, automation, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
