SWBC is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform daily accounting duties for SWBC Mortgage Corporation, including posting entries for funding, financing, commissions, and bonuses. The role supports month-end close, reconciles general ledger balances, and coordinates wire requests with warehouse banks.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least one year of related experience, with strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and Workday skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum one year of accounting or related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficient Workday skills and strong data entry, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and resolve outstanding entries.
• Coordinate and transmit wire requests to warehouse banks and ensure compliance with covenants.
• Ensure reconciliations and journal entries are completed within closing schedules.
