Job summary

Rehmann is seeking an Accountant to join our Client Accounting and Advisory Services team in Michigan. The role involves reconciling client bank statements, preparing journal entries, updating depreciation schedules, and producing financial statements.

You will assist with payroll, cash receipts, and disbursements while maintaining client software and fostering teamwork across the firm. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, are progressing toward the CPA exam or commit to 2–5

Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Progress towards the CPA exam or a commitment to pursue 2-5 years in handling the accounting duties described above
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Proficiency with accounting specific software programs, including Quickbooks Online or other accounting, bill pay and payroll software
• Ability to read a financial statement and identify issues to discuss with a client
• Outstanding client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
