Job summary

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Team in Marietta, GA. This full-time, in-office role supports payable processes, invoicing, PO matching, and payments in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and Coupa.

The position requires 3–5 years of staff accounting experience and strong attention to detail. The Staff Accountant will assist in month-end closing, reconcile vendor statements, and collaborate with General Managers across locations.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 3–5 years of staff accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AP/GL systems and procedures.
  • Detail oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Good data entry and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Coupa is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central is preferred.
  • BS degree or accounting certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming invoices using Coupa for approval.
  • Support multiple locations and coordinate with General Managers.
  • GL strip for P&L.
  • Process 3-way PO matching invoices.
  • Apply payments and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Audit credit card bills and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Assist month-end closing across multiple systems.
  • Maintain documentation per company policy.
  • Collaborate with finance/accounting on projects.
  • Attend department and company meetings and trainings.

Job description

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Team in Marietta, GA!

The Staff Accountant is a key member of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games finance team. It’s a full time,salaried role, based in-office at the Marietta Corporate support center.

The Staff Accountant is responsible for involvement in payable process, bothworking in the AP function as well as working withstaff accountants andsupporting SeniorManagementatthe AIKG accounting office.

The Staff Accountant at AIKG generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments in MS D365 Business Central and the Coupa platform.

All positions are responsible forfollowing Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality, professionalismand guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Coupa platform extensively to process incoming invoices for approval
  • Support 3-4 locations and work closely with those General Managers
  • GL strip for P&L's
  • Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices
  • Apply payments
  • Audit and process credit card bills
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Assist in month end closing, including reconciling across multiple systems
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assist with other finance/accounting projects as needed
  • Work as a team player in meeting the organizations business needs and communicating & assisting other departments when needed
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 Years Staff Accounting experience
  • Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data entry and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
  • Detail oriented,professional attitude, a reliable problem solver and self-starter
Preferred:
  • Experience with Coupa platform
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • BS degree, or specialized certificate in accounting
