Job summary

LHH is partnered with an excellent organization to find a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to grow within a collaborative finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in audits and provide supporting documentation as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; internship experience considered.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
