Job summary

Del Real Llc in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support month-end close, fixed assets, and reconciliations. You will handle journal entries, depreciation, bank reconciliations, AR processing, and assist with audits.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, with AX familiarity and strong analytical abilities. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank activity on a daily basis and manage AR cash applications/invoicing.
• Ensure new customer setups and changes are reflected in AX.
• Collaborate with Controller, AR Clerks, and Sales on customer chargebacks.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with year-end audits.
• Support physical inventory processes and auditor interaction.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

A. PURPOSE

This position is responsible for tracking various asset and liability accounts, record related journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting related to accounts assigned. The position is also responsible for the Fixed Asset tracking/reconciliations and Ad Hoc projects as assigned.

B. DUTIES

General Overall Duties

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, accruals, account and bank reconciliations, commission calculations
• Manage fixed asset / CIP ledgers, depreciation and reconciliation
• Manage ADP GL interface payroll weekly entries
• Reconcile bank rec on a daily basis
• Oversee day to day AR operations including cash applications / AR Invoicing
• Responsible for new customer setups & existing customer changes in AX
• Work closely with Controller / AR Clerks / Sales Team on customer chargebacks on a weekly basis
• Complete monthly Balance Sheets account reconciliations as assigned
• Integral part of the mid-year and year-end physical inventory process
• Interface with external auditors and help prepare the audit paperwork
• Performs other duties as assigned

• This position requires a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Effective communication will be important when planning, executing, and reporting on the results of internal projects as well as presenting other matters to management.
• Demonstrated numerical aptitude required. Ability to analyze complex financial reporting schedules required.
• Other skills that are important include: building rapport with operating management, analytical skills in order to identify the source of issues identified, and strong organizational skills to be able to manage area of responsibility and projects effectively and efficiently

C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• This position requires at least 3-5 years of related experience. Public accounting experience and manufacturing industry is a plus.
