Job summary

DLZ Corporation in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our engineering and design teams. You will reconcile general ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, manage time sheets, and assist with project billing. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 0–2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 0–2 years of accounting-related experience; internships/co-ops welcome.
• Project accounting and client invoicing experience preferred.
• Construction industry/project costing background is a plus.
• Strong MS Excel and Word; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Bank reconciliation and review.
• Time-sheet processing and administration.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
• Project maintenance and accounting.
• Work with project managers to prepare and process contract billings.
• Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
• Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
