Job summary

CFS in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Staff Accountant to support general ledger close, financial reporting, and inventory and fixed asset accounting in a manufacturing environment.

You will work with operations and management to analyze financial information, prepare monthly statements, and assist with budgeting and audits. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 4+ years of experience are preferred, with manufacturing exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly general ledger close and preparation of journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, including inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Analyze financial information and provide insights to management as needed.
