Partner at Root & Company, LLC Certified Public Accountants

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Federal tax returns including Form 1040, 1041, 1120S, and 1065 forms
• Manage bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting tasks
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments
• Review income statements and balance sheet
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements and various reports such as profit and loss and balance sheet
• Process payroll tax returns (knowledge preferred but not required)
• Assist CPAs with tax-related notices and correspondence
• Collaborate with team members and partners on client needs

Requirements:

• Experience in tax return preparation
• Tax returns include 1040, 1041, 1120S, and 1065 forms
• Form 990 experience is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting tasks
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required
• CPA or EA is preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree or related bookkeeping certificate is preferred but not required
