Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of financial records, including financial statements, review of data, and financial compliance. Duties include financial procedures relating to month-end and year-end closings and reports, accounts payable and receivable, taxes, G/L account reconciliations, journal entries, forecasting and budgeting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (perform or assist with):

• Assembly of data for weekly operating metrics reports
• Month-end financial closings, including financial statement analysis and reporting
• Preparation and maintenance of general ledger account reconciliations
• General ledger journal entries, as assigned
• Financial analysis to understand financial results and variances
• Year-end financial closing and annual audits
• Annual budget preparation and reporting
• Sales and federal excise tax reporting
• Maintenance of fixed asset records
• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High level of proficiency in Excel; Word, Power Point and ERP system experience
• Cost Accounting Knowledge preferred (Make-to-order manufacturing environment)

• Working Capital Management

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting or standing as needed.
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
• Reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Entrans International LLC.
