Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Stacker Operator in a full-time position in Kentucky. You will assist with setup, stacking, and contributing to efficient production operations alongside experienced teams.

The role emphasizes following instructions, maintaining quality, and supporting continuous improvements on the line, with opportunities to advance to operator and participate in a safety‑minded work culture.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Set-up bundler, hold down arm, load former, and delivery end of machine accurately.
• Secure proper cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags for production runs.
• Stack finished boxes in accordance with factory master.
• Ensure each unit has proper top and bottom cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags.
• Monitor quality of boxes and report quality problems to Operator.
• Assist operator and first helper as necessary.
• Be willing to move up the line of progression to operator regardless of shift.
• Ensure correct bundle and unit counts.
• Report final count of piece unit to operator.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Helps operators adhere to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
