Job summary

International Paper is seeking a dedicated Production Operator for its facility in Waxahachie, Texas. The role requires adherence to safety protocols while performing production-related tasks, including monitoring processes and handling materials.

Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, the ability to follow safety rules, and be comfortable lifting weights up to 50lbs. International Paper is committed to employee well-being and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment.
Operator must follow all company safety rules/procedures.
Operator may be required to lift up to 50lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

Feedback quality concerns to control room or wet-end operators.
Remove non-conforming materials from stacker.
Monitor stacker process, preventing jams or errors.
Counting and stacking finished product.
Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor.

Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler

Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience

Stable and verifiable work history

Job description

Feedback quality concerns to control room or wet-end operators

Remove non-conforming materials from stacker
Remove scheduled side trim for baler
Monitor stacker process, preventing jams or errors
Place splice waste, etc., in scrap carts
Insert tie sheets for multiple outs
Set optimization mode for required orders
Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor
Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment
Operator must follow all company safety rules/procedures
Operator must keep work areas and surrounding areas clean and free of debris
Operator may be required to lift up 50lbs during shift.
Counting and stacking finished product
Reading orders
