Job summary

Mclane-Classic-Foods is seeking a Warehouse Pack Associate to support daily production by packing chilled products into cases and ensuring proper sealing, labeling, and temperature control. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting 20–70 lbs as needed.

You will rotate through tasks such as assembling boxes, applying labels, operating the date coder, and maintaining a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 20–70 lbs.
• Able to work in a cold or hot warehouse.
• Allergen training required.

Responsibilities

• Remove chilled product from line and place in cases.
• Ensure correct quantity of pouches per case.
• Verify date code, label, and taped seal on cases.
• Keep finished product within acceptable temperature.
• Assemble, stamp, tape and label boxes.
• Inspect boxes for damage, holes, seals, coding.
• Stack boxes on pallets following safety/quality standards.
• Maintain clean work area and dispose of waste.
• Operate date coder and tape/label machine.

Job description

Role and ResponsibilitiesEmployee will be responsible for removing chilled product from the line, placing correct number of pouches carefully into case and ensuring case receives date code, label and is taped correctly.Ensure finished product to be packed is within acceptable temperature range.Construct, stamp, tape, label, etc. boxes as necessary.Inspect boxes for damage, pin holes, bad seals, incorrect/missing coding, etc.Stack boxes of product correctly on to the pallet as to follow safety and quality standards.Ensure batch segregation by completing one batch before moving to next batch.Maintain clean work area.Sweep, clean, remove trash and remove inedible as necessary.Additional responsibilities as instructed by Pack-off Lead, Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor.Adhere with plant GMP’s and safety guidelines.Skills and RequirementsHS Diploma or Equivalent.Be able to stand for extended periods of time.Be able to stoop, bend and climb steps.Be able to Lift 20-70 lbs.Be able to work in warehouse environment that may be cold or hot, depending on season during 8 hour shift.Basic literacy skills (English) – to read product code information.Allergen training required.Additional NotesMay be required to assist pack-off lead with associated paperwork, pack boxes, operate date coder and tape and label machine.
