Job summary

Opal Foods is hiring for a Stackoff at our Egg Processing Plant in Hudson, CO. The role stacks cartons onto pallets, monitors the tape machine, and maintains a clean workspace throughout the day.

You will assist other positions and ensure correct labeling and pallet placement, with lifting 25–45 lbs as needed. The position is first shift with hours that may extend; uniform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and floors are part of the daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must recognize and match labels.
• Must demonstrate attention to details.
• Must be able to work at a fast-pace, walk, stand, and complete repetitive tasks extended time periods.
• Must be available to be scheduled for work any day of the week including holidays.
• Must be clocked in and ready to work at scheduled start times.
• Must be able to stay until eggs have completely run out of barns and plant is cleaned and sanitized.

Responsibilities

• Once cartons of eggs are boxed and crated, associate is responsible for stacking boxes and crates onto pallets
• In charge of monitoring and fixing tape machine
• Maintain clean work area throughout the day
• Responsible for helping other positions and cleaning up as needed
• Must have attention to detail to ensure the boxes and crates are put on the correct pallets, labels are correct, and boxes are sealed properly
• Transport eggs from Processing to the Cooler and unload carton trucks as needed
• Must be able to comfortably lift 25-45 lbs. up to 5 feet high to place on stacked pallet
• Clean and sanitize equipment and floors at the end of the day

Salary Range: $21.00 To $21.00 Hourly

We're growing! Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of Stackoff for our Egg Processing Plant in Hudson, CO. This position is responsible for stacking cases of production on to pallets while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. Will clean and sanitize the plant after each day's run is complete. This position will also assist the production lead with other projects and duties as needed.
