Job summary

Eliot Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking Stabilization Clinicians- Fee for Service to support our CBHC program in Massachusetts. You will assess adults, children and families during psychiatric crises, delivering rapid response and engagement in a variety of settings.

This on-site role offers telehealth as needed, with hourly pay ranging from $40 to $50. Benefits and scheduling are prorated for Fee for Service positions, and the organization emphasizes growth, belonging, and community

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Strong diagnostic skills and crisis intervention ability.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, stabilization planning for clients and families.
• Provide urgent care services including crisis planning, stabilization, and short-term treatment.
• Provide side by side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
• Provide interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client's residences as needed.
• Provide all services in a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach.
• Complete evaluation processes to assess safety and needed services.
• Develop short term treatment plans to keep clients in the community.
• Deliver direct short term intervention and crisis management across several days.
• Develop safety and crisis plans grounded in evidence-based practices.

Eliot is seeking Stabilization Clinicians- Fee for Service to join our Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CBHC) program. Eliot's CBHC program serves as a single-entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. In this position you will provide clinical evaluation and assessment to adults, children and families during psychiatric crises ensuring rapid response, targeted support and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, stabilization interventions, and stabilization planning for clients and families experiencing an acute and urgent need for behavioral healthcare.
• Provide urgent care services including crisis planning, stabilization, and short term treatment to support a client in the stabilization process.
• Provide side by side interventions to individuals/families that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
• Provide interventions in the office, virtually, in the community and in client's residences based on client preference, client need, and at the clinical direction of the urgent care team.
• Provide all services and supports in a strengths-based, solution-focused, client-centered, recovery-oriented approach manner
• Complete evaluation processes when clinically appropriate to assess for safety, determine services needed, determine level of intervention including community planning, community based services, immediate interventions, and the need for hospitalization.
• Develop short term treatment plans to support a client/youth to remain in the community rather than seeking emergency room services and/or hospitalization.
• Provide direct short term, solution focused clinical intervention and treatment for clients and families as indicated for crisis management and resolution over the course of several days until longer term services are in place and/or acuity has subsided.
• Develop safety plans and crisis plans that are seeped in evidence based practices, focus on stabilization, and maintaining personal safety and the safety of others.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies.
• Valid Massachusetts Drivers License

Schedule: Various hours and schedules available

Pay rates: This is an on-site position with flexibility to provide telehealth services as needed. Fully remote work is not available.

Urgent Care Telehealth FFS - $40.00 per hour

Urgent Care Onsite FFS - $50.00 per hour
