Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our cGMP API Stability Laboratory in Painesville, Ohio. This role will support analytical stability studies, requiring hands-on experience with small molecule drug substances and various analytical techniques.

Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, at least 2 years of analytical laboratory experience, and a strong familiarity with cGMP environments. Responsibilities include conducting stability testing and managing laboratory data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant analytical laboratory experience in a cGMP environment.
• Experience in a quality control or stability laboratory is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform stability testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and more.
• Coordinate the generation of stability data to support client projects.
• Author and review stability protocols and related documentation.
• Conduct OOS investigations and identify potential root causes.

Skills

Hands-on experience with standard analytical laboratory instrumentation

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with OOS investigations and root cause analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solid understanding of arithmetic and algebra

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
