Job summary

Village Farms International invites applicants for the QC Data Specialist role to own stability testing and data management across cannabis products. You will design studies, track OOT/OOS, and coordinate with QA, RA, and Operations to support regulatory submissions.

You will lead data visualization and reporting, maintain ALCOA+ data integrity, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in ERP and LIMS systems.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, life sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a regulated laboratory setting with stability program experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end stability program for cannabis products, including study design, sampling, data collection, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Design and maintain stability protocols aligned with ICH Q1A(R2), Q1E, and EU-GMP requirements.
• Serve as SME on stability science, advise QA, RA, and Operations on shelf-life and retest dating.
• Identify OOT/OOS results, lead investigations and CAPAs, and manage stability chambers and storage units.
• Coordinate sample preparation for stability time-points and batch releases; liaise with third-party labs and review COAs.
• Maintain records in ERP and SharePoint, including COA documentation and LIRs.
