Job summary

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking a Scientist to join the Stability and Batch Release team in Columbia, Missouri. The Associate Scientist position is an entry-level role performing day-to-day lab activities under CGMP/GLP guidelines and assisting in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biochemistry/biology or related field, with hands-on GLP/GMP experience and familiarity with HPLC/GC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (chemistry/biochemistry/biology/chemical engineering/pharmaceutical sciences or related)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Experience with GLP and/or GMP and hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC and/or GC is desirable
• Experience with LIMS system desirable
• Familiarity with laboratory work and good organizational/communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting, monitoring and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality
• Provide analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments
• Work with increasing independence on studies and assignments
