The purpose of the Stability Analyst & Lab Associate is to set up and review product stability and product compatibility as well as make lab batches as needed to help development chemists with their projects at our Nanuet, NY facility.

Essential Functions

• Follow all product stability procedures for the lab.
• Submit samples to QC for testing.
• Record results.
• Review results and samples with the lab chemists.
• Keep stability chambers organized.
• Follow all product compatibility procedures for the lab.
• Work with the development chemists to make batches as needed.
• Help maintain raw material and component stock for the lab.
• Help keep the lab clean and organized.
• Support with gathering data for audits.

Job Qualifications

• BS in Science is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and have a good understanding of the English language.
• Needs to be organized and detail oriented.
• Must have a clear understanding of good lab practices.
• Must have some laboratory experience with a good understanding of the equipment used (pH meters, viscometers, balances, mixers, mills, etc.).
• Good math skills required to carry out calculations, percentages, etc.
• May need to color match so a good color eye would be preferred.
• Must be able to multitask and manage overlapping projects, as the department handles multiple assignments simultaneously.
