• Lead Critical Supplier Process to drive QR performance improvement.
• Participate in Whiteboard reviews and PRT meetings; drive resolution of external supplier process IS/QR warranty concerns.
• Support QR procedures including binning, threshold reviews, and QR dispute resolution; assist IQ with non-responsive suppliers; assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM data accuracy.
• Coordinate part quality confirmation for suppliers with repetitive containment failures.
• Lead containment of -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN/BSAQ projects; drive root cause analyses with critical suppliers.
• Align with PRT on SP SIMPSN & BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.
• Provide early notification to and engage STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments related to SP; support Stop Ship issues and track vehicle On-Hold/Release.
• Assist in Stop Ship reporting; monitor DPR and alert STA management for issues.
• Act as supplier representative and liaison between STA and plant management; support Daily Plant Quality Meetings and lead supplier prep for PQRs.

In this position...

• Lead Critical Supplier Process to drive Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance improvement.

• Participate in Whiteboard reviews and assigned sub-system PRT (Powertrain Variability Reduction Team) meetings. Drive resolution of external supplier process -3MIS, 1MIS, and 0MIS warranty concerns.

• Support QR procedures by supporting concern binning, reviewing threshold QRs, and providing support for QR Dispute resolution. Assist the Incoming Quality (IQ) department with non-responsive suppliers. Assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data accuracy.

What you'll do...

• Coordinate part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure.

• Lead containment of special-cause supplier process -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN (Single Issue Management & Problem-Solving Nexus) & BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects.

• Drive root cause analysis activities with select critical to quality suppliers.

• Align with PRT on Supplier Process (SP) SIMPSN & BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.

• Provide early notification to and engage the STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments related to supplier process (SP).

• Provide support in containing supplier Stop Ship issues. Assist Site STA team with vehicle On-Hold and Release process tracking.

• Work with Stop Ship stakeholders to support accurate root cause for Prevent Action Closure (PAC) process reporting.

• Monitor daily production report (DPR) and provide notification to STA management for issues that require Site STA team awareness/intervention.

• Act as supplier representative and liaison between STA and manufacturing plant management. Support Daily Plant Quality Meetings (PIC Room) to report on containment of Supplier Process warranty issues, participate in PRT forums, lead supplier preparation for PQRs (Powertrain Quality Review).

You'll have...

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude

• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience

• Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines
