Job summary

Rootstrap is seeking a Full Stack Developer Semi Senior to join a remote multicultural team. You will contribute to the full development cycle of web and mobile apps, designing solutions and delivering high-quality software aligned with client needs and company standards.

You will work independently, develop automated tests, and participate in project planning, review cycles, and code reviews while embracing AI-enabled tooling and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Software experience from degree studies.
• +4 years approx. of experience in the IT field.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript.
• At least 2 years of experience developing apps with Node.js.
• Experience developing automated tests with Node.
• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications with React.
• At least 2 years of experience working with HTML and CSS.
• Experience with frontend testing libraries (Testing Library, Cypress, Jest, etc).
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases design, implementation and best practices.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and within an agile environment.
• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (CI/CD).
• Experience working with bundlers and compilers (vite, webpack, babel, parcel, gulp, grunt, etc).
• Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer Semi Senior with Node.js and React.js technologies to join our remote multicultural team and be part of the full development cycle of web and mobile apps: including understanding business needs, designing solutions for specific problems, and developing the product. They should be able to work independently with little support from other devs to develop high-quality software, which is aligned with client needs and company standards.
