Qualifications

• Basic exposure to ACI, AISC, ASCE, NDS, or SDPWS design manuals.
• Junior- or Senior- level standing in an ABET accredited civil engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Design gravity elements like beams, columns, and joists (wood, steel, and concrete).
• Utilize design software such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA 3D, Enercalc.
• Perform lateral analysis of plywood and concrete shear walls and diaphragms.
• Review submittals for projects in construction.
• Assist with construction administration.
• Detail structural connections under the guidance of a senior engineer.
