Job summary

ECAA - Anesthesia Specialists seeks a SRNA to manage anesthesia in a Care Team Model at WakeMed Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC. The SRNA handles diverse casework across cardiac, pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, and some neurosurgery.

Self scheduling, strong clinical skills, and ability to work within a high-acuity environment are essential as you support anesthesia pre and post-care and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a CRNA in progress or certified, with NC RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Ability to provide safe anesthesia care across specialties.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient history for allergies or illnesses affecting anesthesia.
• Evaluate and prepare patients; educate on surgeries and recovery.
• Determine anesthesia type and dosage; administer anesthesia.
• Supervise and assist SRNAs; oversee recovery and pain management.
• Inform patients about post-surgical and pain management steps.
• Collaborate with MDs, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Provide medication guidance and assist in procedures.
