CaroMont Regional Medical Center and Belmont Hospital in Gastonia, NC seeks an SRNA-Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist to manage anesthetics with autonomy in an ACT setting. The role offers a diverse case mix and exposure to nearly all surgeries except certain transplant and pediatric cases.

The SRNA will develop clinical skills, collaborate with the care team, and expand expertise across areas of interest while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.

Qualificações

• Must be a CRNA or in the process of certifying through an accredited program.
• Current North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Examine patients’ history for allergies or illnesses affecting anesthesia.
• Evaluate and prepare patients, educate about surgeries and recovery, discuss side effects.
• Liaise with MDs, nurses, and other healthcare workers.
• Determine anesthesia type, amount, and method of administration.
• Perform anesthetics and provide pain relief medications.
• Supervise and assist CRNAs/SNRAs; oversee recovery and pain management.
• Inform patients on post-surgical procedures and pain management.
• Assist in patient procedure preparation and support other teams.
• Advise patients on medication type and dosage.
