Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support an internal VMware-based cloud environment. The role blends production support with engineering, scripting, and automation to keep cloud services reliable and scalable.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot Unix/Linux systems, and develop automation with Python, Shell, and Ansible, using Jira and Bitbucket to track work. Terraform experience is preferred but not required, with opportunities to grow in cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Unix/Linux server experience.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Python development and scripting skills.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Ansible development.

Responsibilities
