Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud Operations) to support a DoW modernization program in the DC area. You will ensure reliability across 13 containerized services on two AWS accounts, managing monitoring, incident response, patching, and documentation.

You will work with DevSecOps, platform engineering, and development teams to improve service stability while adhering to security requirements, including active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related role.
• Hands-on experience with containerized apps using Kubernetes or ECS.
• Experience with observability tools including monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting.
• Knowledge of incident management, production troubleshooting, incident response and service recovery.
• Experience supporting operational maintenance and troubleshooting of production environments.
• Ability to collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain monitoring, alerting, and on-call support for containerized services across AWS accounts.
• Monitor health, availability and performance to identify issues.
• Coordinate incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Document incidents and remediation steps; maintain runbooks and procedures.
• Coordinate patch cycles for container images and dependencies with development teams.
• Produce and maintain service availability evidence for monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and platform engineering for reliable operations.
• Support Agile delivery and customer demonstrations.
