Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, SaaSOps, or automated Workplace Engineering.
• Expert Python and PowerShell, including asynchronous API integrations.
• Hands-on Azure automation, IAM, and key-vault encryption.
• Deep API knowledge of Intune, Jamf Pro, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Full‑Lifecycle Software Development: write, test, and maintain robust, scalable code (primarily Python, Bash, Java, PowerShell, or Node.js) to build custom middleware, internal tools, and API connectors that bridge our collaboration and endpoint management systems.
• Secure Automation Architecture: Architect and deploy automation across Azure that improves employee experience by making workplace services faster, easier, and more reliable. Use tools to eliminate manual steps, reduce wait times, minimize handoffs, and help users get the support, access, devices, and collaboration services they need with less friction.
• Intelligent AI Workflows: Design and implement enterprise AI workflows using Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Zoom AI Companion, and direct integrations with foundational LLM APIs to safely automate internal ticket resolutions, intelligent enterprise search, and data classification.
• Automated Endpoint & Identity Management: Build data‑driven automation pipelines for Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro via the Microsoft Graph and Jamf APIs to orchestrate zero‑touch provisioning, posture monitoring, and conditional access policies.
• Compliance‑First Engineering (NIST & ISO20022): Secure all automation architectures, token handling, and least‑privilege API scopes to align with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). Ensure any automation touching automated data routing or communication infrastructure preserves highly structured data integrity up to ISO20022 validation standards.
• CI/CD & Governance: Establish automated deployment pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) and maintain meticulous code documentation to allow auditability and compliance tracking across all internal scripts and tools.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Digital Workplace AI/Automation Engineer to architect, develop, and scale intelligent automation and AI workflows across our enterprise productivity platforms. In this role, you will move far beyond basic platform administration to write production‑grade software, construct custom API integrations, and embed modern AI models directly into our ecosystem. You will be responsible for orchestrating seamless workflows across a complex stack—including Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Onedrive, ServiceNow, Beyondtrust Endpoint Privilege Manager, SharePoint, Azure and Exchange Online adhering to NIST cybersecurity standards and ISO20022 compliance for secure, structured data handling.

Key Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, SaaSOps, Systems Engineering, or a highly automated Workplace Engineering role.

• Core Programming: Expert proficiency in Python and PowerShell is mandatory, including experience writing asynchronous API integrations, custom webhooks, Java, Bash and complex data parsers.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands‑on experience developing and hosting automation scripts/services in Azure, with an understanding of cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and key‑vault token encryption.
• Platform & API Mastery: Deep technical and API‑level knowledge of: MDM Platforms: Microsoft Intune (App deployment, Graph API graph filtering) and Jamf Pro (Classic/Pro APIs, Jamf Webhooks). M365 Ecosystem: Advanced automation across Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online. Unified Communications: Zoom (JWT/OAuth app management, Zoom Webhooks, AI Companion deployments).
• Compliance & Frameworks: Solid operational understanding of designing software systems that comply with NISTSP800‑53/CSF and managing structured data pipelines under ISO20022 requirements.
• AI & Integration Platforms: Proven experience working with low‑code/no‑code enterprise iPaaS (e.g., Workato, Power Automate) alongside raw code integrations of LLM capabilities.

Soft Skills & Mindset

• Security by Design: A defensive programming mindset where token management, least‑privilege API permissions, and data privacy are treated as core architecture requirements.
• Technical Translator: The ability to consult with internal security, SME’s, compliance, and line‑of‑business teams to translate strict business requirements into automated software architectures.

The annual base pay for this position is: $140,200.00 - $210,200.00.
