Acrisure is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to independently manage complex Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution. This role investigates claims, determines compensability, evaluates exposure, manages reserves and litigation, and develops resolution strategies in accordance with PA laws and regulations.

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience handling PA WC claims.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and practices.
• Experience managing complex indemnity and litigated claims.
• Remote work capability with ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Delaware/New Jersey claims experience is a plus.

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to independently manage complex Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution. This role is responsible for investigating claims, determining compensability, evaluating exposure, managing reserves and litigation, and developing claim resolution strategies in accordance with Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience handling Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims. This is a fully remote position.

• Independently manage a caseload of Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and develop appropriate claim handling strategies
• Review medical documentation, coverage, and claim exposure in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim developments
• Manage complex indemnity and litigated claims, including settlement negotiations
• Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, employers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor claim activity, maintain accurate diaries, and ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate return-to-work efforts and identify opportunities for cost containment, subrogation, or fraud investigation
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation within the claims management system
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

• 5+ years of experience handling Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims required
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claims handling practices required
• Experience managing complex indemnity claims required
• Experience developing claim resolution strategies and negotiating settlements required
• Delaware workers' compensation claims experience highly valued
• Experience handling litigated workers' compensation claims strongly preferred
• New Jersey workers' compensation claims experience considered an asset
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex claims in a remote environment
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Additional workers' compensation education, claims training, or industry certifications helpful
