Job summary

Future Technologies Inc. in the United States seeks a Sr. Windows Desktop Administrator to manage accounts, network rights, file permissions, and access to systems and equipment.

You will maintain system images and configurations, perform backups and basic network troubleshooting, and coordinate hardware and software installations. A Level 2 IAT certification and an Active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with desktop operating systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision and communicate effectively.
• Experience planning and coordinating installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Experience planning or scheduling installation and deployment of new hardware, operating systems and applications.
• IAT Level 2 certification (IA and Windows OS).
• Active Secret security clearance.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of experience with desktop Operating Systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to plan or schedule the installation and deployment of new hardware, operating systems and applications software.
• Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 certification; this includes both an Information Assurance (IA) certification and a Windows Operating System (OS) certification.
• Active Secret security clearance.

The anticipated salary for this position is $80,000 to $85,000.
