MAANIA CONSULTANCY SERVICES seeks a Sr. VMware Virtualization Engineer for our client at Offutt AFB, NE. The role requires expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, Horizon, App Volumes and Workspace ONE, with 8+ years as an IT Systems Engineer specializing in hyper-converged infrastructure. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

The candidate will design, implement and sustain enterprise virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as IT Systems Engineer designing, implementing and sustaining hyper-converged enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Horizon, App Volumes, Workspace ONE.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and sustain hyper-converged enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain and optimize virtualization environments using VCF and Horizon, App Volumes and Workspace ONE.
• Provide engineering support and capacity planning for critical DoD IT systems.

Job description:

• 8 yrs as IT Systems Engineer, specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with designing, implementing and sustaining hyper-converged Enterprise infrastructure solutions;
• Current USSTRATCOM Enterprise virtualization utilizes Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform.
• Experience with current versions of VCF, Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies to include Horizon, App Volumes and Workspace ONE shall be required.
• An active intermediate –level or higher certification such as VMware Certified Professional or equivalent certification from other virtualization vendors shall be required.
