Aquent Studios is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to lead premium 2D graphics and motion for physical environments and retail spaces. You will shape visual design systems across a broad product ecosystem and collaborate with creative leadership to ensure brand consistency across campaigns.

The role emphasizes bridging static and dynamic media, with exposure to print proofing and large-scale displays in retail settings.

Qualifications

• An online portfolio demonstrating strong visual design aesthetic and executions (featuring your direct contributions).
• Comfort designing across various campaigns and channels including Motion, Print, and Out-of-Home (OOH).
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a visual or graphic designer.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Proficiency in After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the concept, design, layout development, and execution of premium 2D graphics and dynamic motion assets for physical environments and retail spaces.
• Collaborate closely with creative leadership to build compelling, highly responsive visual design systems across a diverse product portfolio.
• Bridge the gap between static and dynamic media, owning high-fidelity print proofing and pre-flighting workflows for massive architectural footprints.
• Design motion assets, digital display content, and kinetic typography for the retail journey.
• Create detailed designs, sketches, and mood boards to visualize concepts and communicate ideas to the team.
• Develop dynamic motion content with kinetic typography for use in digital displays and devices to enhance physical-to-digital narrative flow within stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead the concept, design, layout development, and execution of premium 2D graphics and dynamic motion assets for physical environments and retail spaces.


• Collaborate closely with creative leadership to build compelling, highly responsive visual design systems across a diverse product portfolio.


• Seamlessly bridge the gap between static and dynamic media, owning high-fidelity print proofing and pre-flighting workflows for massive architectural footprints.


• Design motion assets, digital display content, and kinetic typography that breathe life into the retail journey.


• Create detailed designs, sketches, and mood boards to visualize concepts and communicate ideas to the team.


• Develop dynamic motion content with kinetic typography for use in digital displays and devices to enhance physical-to-digital narrative flow within stores.


• Develop what the channel creative asset looks like, proposing placement, hierarchy, consistency, and stories within the channel, pulling in content art direction from broader creative programs.


• Partner with the team on how design systems and components should flex within each channel.


• Maintain brand consistency in all visual and retail content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and overall aesthetic.


• Synthesize feedback from multiple sources and iterate rapidly.


• For complex or key work streams, provide input and collaborate with other team members such as Art Directors, Designers, Producers, and Production to bring concepts to life.

Must-Have Qualifications

• An online portfolio demonstrating strong visual design aesthetic and executions (featuring your direct contributions).


• Comfort designing across various campaigns and channels including Motion, Print, and Out-of-Home (OOH).


• Ability to adapt quickly and find solutions to brand and business problems.


• 5+ years of relevant experience as a visual or graphic designer.


• Proficiency in Figma.


• Proficiency in After Effects.

• Passion for design and technology.


• Enthusiasm for developing, mentoring, or inspiring other designers.


• Past experience as a designer within a creative agency or in-house.

Other Requirements

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $120-$190K. However, final compensation level will be determined based on experience and scope alignment.
