Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, seeks a Sr Transportation Analyst to oversee transportation analytics, optimize routes, and implement strategies to improve network performance. You will collaborate with departments, vendors, and customers to streamline operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong communication and Excel skills, and the ability to work in-office four days a week at 7834 CF Hawn Freeway, Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4–6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation freight payment and claims operations and performance.
• Manage aging and 1st pass yield with 3rd party freight payment processing.
• Develop SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Establish relationships and provide support to various departments and customers inside and outside the organization.
• Perform high quality analysis on various items to improve costs, performance, and communications within and outside the department.
• Negotiate on price and other matters with vendors, carriers, and contractors.
• Assist with cost saving opportunities such as minimizing unnecessary costs (detention, demurrage).
• Responsible for freight payment of various vendors supporting domestic transportation.
• Recognized within team as a subject matter expert and make process decisions based on company/customer knowledge and industry practices.
• Lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience And Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
