Candidate superpowers should include ownership, insist on high standards, stakeholder management, influencing without authority, innovation, creating clarity out of ambiguity, and enabling productive collaboration.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the MES roadmap across production value streams that delivers the end-to-end system capabilities necessary to support sourcing, building, testing, and integrating satellites.

  • Establish the linkage between the MES roadmap and annual goals & objectives, creating data models, owning tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor, and optimize MES-supported value streams.

  • Drive daily execution working across supply chain, planning, fulfillment, and production teams to ensure MES systems are enabling operational excellence.

  • Represent the overall MES roadmap in assessing technical trades related to innovation, speed, manufacturability, cost, stability, and trust.

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable MES project plans and system operations initiatives.

  • Understand dependencies between MES roadmap projects, synchronize milestones, identify constraints, and dive deep where necessary to unblock and deliver the roadmap.

  • Develop and own operational rhythms (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) for MES programs and production operations teams.

  • Identify potential risks in MES deployments and manufacturing processes; develop mitigation strategies and recovery plans.

You must advocate for customers, push back constructively, and thrive in ambiguity. Expect novel challenges, collaboration with multiple technical teams, and the opportunity to make a positive impact at scale.
