Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

To deliver these complex solutions, as the Sr MES Technical Program Manager you will partner with peers across all Leo teams, including hardware, software, supply chain, manufacturing, launch, facilities, finance, compliance, and HR.
This role includes direct responsibility for program management of MES system-level development, integration, and optimization across the production value stream. This role supports MES capabilities for satellite production. You'll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive system execution, process optimization, and roadmap development. Daily work balances strategic planning—tech feasibility assessments, system upgrades with hands‑on project oversight and cross-team coordination. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for engaging production teams, software developers, manufacturing engineers, and vendors. You must advocate for customers, push back constructively, and thrive in ambiguity. Expect novel challenges, collaboration with multiple technical teams, and the opportunity to make a positive impact at scale.
Project Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The MES team enables production operations by delivering and maintaining the manufacturing execution systems that support planning, manufacturing, integration, and test of the production value stream.
This is a highly technical role requiring experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and complex manufacturing applications. Candidate superpowers should include bias for action, ownership, insist on high standards, stakeholder management, innovation, creating clarity out of ambiguity, and enabling productive collaboration across different organizations.
