Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a seasoned security program leader to drive product security initiatives across multiple engineering teams in our Michigan sites. You will oversee threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure development practices while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage complex schedules, and a hands-on approach to deliver secure, high-quality mobility software and hardware solutions.

• Coordinate security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new products and features.
• Support implementation of security controls, cryptographic solutions, secure provisioning, and key management processes.
• Lead Red and Blue Team activities including vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Support security audits, governance reviews, and cybersecurity reporting.
• Coordinate penetration testing and timely resolution of identified findings.

Role / Responsibilities

• Lead product security programs across multiple engineering teams and products.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to track security deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
• Partner closely with vendors and suppliers to review security requirements, address security issues, and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new products and features.
• Support implementation of security controls, cryptographic solutions, secure provisioning, and key management processes.
• Drive Red and Blue Team activities including vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response readiness, and remediation tracking.
• Support security compliance, audits, governance reviews, and cybersecurity reporting.
• Coordinate penetration testing and security assessments, and drive timely resolution of identified security findings.

Qualifications

• Strong program management experience leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience working with cybersecurity, software, hardware, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, schedules, and executive communications.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors, suppliers, and technology partners.
• Knowledge of product security principles, secure development practices, and cybersecurity risk management.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, threat modeling, security assessments, and incident response processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and drive execution across diverse teams.

Preferred & Education

• Experience in automotive, IoT, embedded systems, connected devices, or cloud-based products.
• Familiarity with security standards, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Experience supporting penetration testing, security audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Understanding of cryptography, PKI, secure boot, secure provisioning, or identity and access management concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a related technical field preferred.
• Relevant cybersecurity or program management certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, PMP, PgMP).
