Job summary

Southwest Healthcare seeks a Senior Telecommunications Analyst to lead design, administration, and strategic advancement of enterprise telecom and unified communications systems. You will leverage Cisco Collaboration, PBX/VoIP, and Teams voice integration to support hospital networks and paging systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare telecom environments, CCNA/CCNP-style guidance, and strong vendor collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in IT/Telecom or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years telecom experience with Cisco UC/VoIP systems.
• 3 years supporting Cisco UC environments and PBX/VoIP.
• Experience with carrier, cellular, paging, and converged voice networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and maintain enterprise telecommunications and UC systems.
• Provide senior-level Cisco and Teams voice expertise across projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement improvements.

Job Summary

The Senior Telecommunications Analyst serves as the organization's lead telecommunications technical resource, responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, support, and strategic advancement of enterprise telecommunications and unified communications systems. This position provides senior-level expertise in Cisco Collaboration technologies, PBX and VoIP platforms, Microsoft Teams voice integration, cellular and paging systems, nurse call communications, and converged voice and data networks.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible telecommunications experience.
• Three (3) years of experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise PBX and VoIP systems.
• Experience administering carrier, cellular, paging, and telecommunications services.
• Experience supporting converged voice and data networks.
• Experience working with telecommunications vendors and service providers.
• Must have valid California Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration).
• Cisco Collaboration or Voice certifications.
• Microsoft Teams Voice Administrator Associate certification.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• Experience supporting healthcare telecommunications environments.
• Experience supporting Cerner CareAware Connect.
• Experience with Cisco CUBE and SIP trunk implementations.
• Experience leading telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting DAS/BDA systems and public safety communications infrastructure.
