Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Sr. Technologist to apply advanced engineering knowledge to support metallic prototype development for cutting-edge heart technology.
You will lead complex prototyping activities, design tools, and collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to improve product performance and manufacturability. You will work independently, mentor engineers, and contribute to new technologies and best practices across the AI&T Metals Center of Excellence in California.

The Sr. Technologist is a technical expert who applies advanced engineering knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures to support product development for metallic prototype samples. The role leads complex engineering activities, develops innovative solutions, and drives improvements in product quality, performance, manufacturability, and development efficiency. Working independently, the Sr. Technologist serves as a subject matter expert, provides technical leadership, collaborates across functions, and contributes to the development of new technologies, methods, and best practices.
Applies skill and dexterity in the development of metallic engineering prototypes, in support of improving products and processes, and new product development.
H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus 10 Years experience in prototype or new product development environment is required.
Associate's Degree or equivalent in trade school medical device industry preferred, with experience and exposure to the operation of virtually all relevant machinery preferred.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $118,000 (highly experienced).
