Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure accurate order filling, track inventory, and follow safety and packaging guidelines while handling equipment and materials to support the team.

You will perform inspections, assist with shortages and restocking, and prepare orders for shipment according to tickets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in warehouse or material handling.
• Experience reading pick tickets and packing slips is a plus.
• Ability to operate common warehouse equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed
• Assist with shortages and restocking needs
• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability
• Package and ship products according to guidelines
• Stock shelves and put away new materials
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check with packing slips
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and POs
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift for loading/unloading
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

• Assist with inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed
• Assist with finding solutions to shortages and packaging material restocking needs
• Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
• Three years of experience in warehouse or material handling
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces or remote locations with arms above shoulder level, lift greater than 55 pounds, squeeze, fine hand motion, and use portable ladder
