FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair our diesel tractor fleet, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment, applying preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
The position offers hourly pay starting at $37.70 with opportunities to earn more; ASE Master certification and CDL are valued, and tuition reimbursement is available.
Starting Rate of Pay: $ 37.70 per hour
As a Mechanic / Technician with FedEx Freight, you will use your heavy equipment experience and/or diesel mechanic education to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel tractors. Diesel mechanics are also responsible for trailers, forklifts, and other equipment that requires preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and repairs.
To provide timely, quality, and cost-effective repair and maintenance for vehicle fleet including tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment that requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications and repairs.

Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
