Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr Technical Content Creator to join the Developer Marketing Team. This role blends technical content management with developer evangelism, crafting blogs, tutorials, and product documentation that resonate with engineers.

You will develop data-driven marketing narratives, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and drive developer-focused content across channels while influencing product roadmaps and education initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years designing and producing content for a technical audience (e.g., Software Engineers, System Administrators, or IT professionals).
  • Experience writing for developer and technical audiences—blogs, product documentation, technical information.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical marketing content.
  • Translate complex technical solutions into value-driven messaging for key audiences; serve as SME during product launches and events.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and product roadmaps.

Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Sr Technical Content Creator to join the Developer Marketing Team. Our innovative and dynamic organization is responsible for helping to grow our brand presence within the developer community. In this role, you will drive compelling narratives and create engaging content tailored for developers, serving as both a technical content manager and an enthusiastic evangelist.

A successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate with technical audiences, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and showcase technical solutions in a clear and compelling way. As a technical creator, you will partner with teams to develop educational, thought leadership, and product-specific content (e.g., blogs, videos, tutorials) that resonates with developers and scales across channels.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
