This is not a hands-on-keyboard troubleshooting role, but rather an opportunity to be the principal technical voice and customer advocate, working proactively to craft strategies that drive adoption of AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. Your technical acumen and communication skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within customer environments and lead discussions with senior leadership on architecture, trade-offs, and risk management.
The close relationships you develop with your customers will allow you to understand their business and operational needs as well as their technical challenges, enabling you to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. You'll engage with cross-functional teams to see customer issues through to resolution, while spending most of your time working proactively on strategic initiatives. Your days will include executive briefings, architecture reviews, and collaborative sessions where you translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance that aligns with business objectives.
You'll join a collaborative and engaging team of technical thought leaders who serve as trusted advisors to enterprise customers. The team combines deep technical expertise with strong customer focus, working together to solve complex challenges and support one another's growth. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
