The successful candidate may work a remote schedule. This individual will be responsible for using their professional experience and network to source candidates for requisitions as well as build a pipeline of talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field is required.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in social digital and recruitment fields.
  • 7–10 years’ experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools.
  • 7–10 years’ experience sourcing technical talent across Civil, Structural, Infrastructure, Transportation, Construction, Water/Wastewater disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit transportation and infrastructure professionals to meet requisitions.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing plans with leadership input.
  • Screen, interview, and present qualified candidates for open roles.
  • Maintain data integrity in candidate management systems.
  • Travel domestically up to 15% for events and support.

Job description

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist experienced in recruiting Transportation professionals in a civil engineering business environment within the NE and SE U.S. The successful candidate may work a remote schedule. This individual will be responsible for using their professional experience and network to source candidates for requisitions as well as build a pipeline of talent.

This individual will work closely with business leadership to understand hiring needs and build a targeted sourcing plan. This position will target planning, engineering & environmental consulting-based talent in the Transportation and Infrastructure business unit. The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following:
  • Using industry knowledge, social media sources, Technical Operations, and mission-focused knowledge to seek out potential candidates that may be currently employed at peer/competitor companies, and successfully bringing those candidates to GAI.
  • Researching market conditions and industry trends as they relate to our competitors to assist in decision-making and marketing positions.
  • Utilizing professional networks to source candidates for active requisitions.
  • Sourcing candidates from a variety of sources, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn, Indeed, ZoomInfo, social media, and search engines (Google Chrome, advanced Boolean searching strings, and niche job boards).
  • Using social networking mediums (i.e., LinkedIn groups, Glassdoor, and other online forums) to promote GAI employer brand messaging that drives traffic to open roles by establishing and promoting positive relationships.
  • Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for open positions. Expectations include identifying a high volume of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers and leaders to develop relationships, understand needs, and create solutions for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Ensuring data integrity of the candidate management database.
  • Extensive data mining of various social media to identify candidate profiles.
  • Domestic travel to assist with events and in support of the business (up to 15%).
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field is required.
Required Experience
  • 7-10 years’ experience required in the social digital and recruitment arena.
  • 7-10 years’ experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other similar/related sourcing tools.
  • 7-10 years’ sourcing technical talent across various planning, engineering & environmental consulting disciplines (Civil, Structural, Infrastructure, Transportation, Construction, Water/Wastewater, etc.).
  • 7-10 years’ experience defining and implementing research and sourcing strategies for critical positions.
Preferred Experience
  • SHRM Cert Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR certification preferred.
