Job summary

MicroVision in Orlando, FL is seeking a qualified individual to develop system-level verification plans and execute validation activities. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in system testing.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop system‑level verification plans, test cases, and test procedures from product and system requirements.
• Define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and verification methods for functional, performance, environmental, reliability, and safety requirements.
• Execute verification and validation activities throughout EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and verification results.
• Develop automated test scripts, tools, and data analysis frameworks.
• Improve test efficiency, repeatability, and coverage.
• Support development and maintenance of system test stations and validation infrastructure.
• Analyze large data sets generated during system testing.
• Generate technical reports and present findings to engineering teams.
• Track performance metrics and verification status against program milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in system test, integration, validation, or product verification. Experience validating complex electro‑optical, embedded, or automotive systems.
• Strong understanding of:

  • Verification and validation methodologiesRoot‑cause analysis
  • Requirements-based testing
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs, and environmental chambers.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis.
• Must be able to live and reside within commuting distance of the MicroVision office in Orlando, FL.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Location and Work Arrangement

Position located in Orlando, FL. A flexible work schedule that could include a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work is possible, subject to team and business needs.
