Job summary

Veralto is seeking an experienced IT Operations & Client Services professional to manage enterprise cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, with focus on AWS, Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory. You will drive automation, security, and incident response while delivering reliable IT services to the business.

You will lead cross‑functional projects, partner with stakeholders, maintain documentation, and help deploy AI-enabled solutions to improve operations and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Networking or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
• 5–10 years in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or related IT roles.
• Experience administering AWS or Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and automation.
• Experience implementing enterprise AI technologies and AI-enabled solutions.
• Ability to lead large cross-functional technology projects and meet objectives/timeframes.
• Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills for complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
• Experience documenting technical procedures and infrastructure standards.
• Solid cybersecurity knowledge: hardening, identity management, backup and disaster recovery.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, VMware, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and related technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
• Develop automation and operational efficiencies through modern IT practices.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning and design through deployment, documentation, and support.
• Partner with business stakeholders and end users to deliver technology solutions and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain cybersecurity best practices, including identity management, patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies, including AI solutions, to enhance business operations and IT services.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for infrastructure and cloud related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability while driving continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as needed

This position is part of the IT Operations & Client Services team.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and related technologies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or related IT roles.
• Strong experience administering and supporting:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • General Automation
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise AI technologies and AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience in infrastructure design, deployment and support.
• Ability to lead large, cross-functional technology projects from initiation through completion while meeting business objectives and timelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical end users across all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, system hardening, identity management, backup and recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Technical project leadership experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
• Enterprise AI technology exposure.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or other industry-recognized cloud and infrastructure certifications.
